Scenic Mountain Fjord

An encyclopaedia for the day ashore.

Cruise Port Guru is a free reference for cruise ports around the world. One page per port, the same practical brief every time, written for the seven or eight hours you actually have.

Built to be a genuine guide.

Most port information online is trying to sell you something. Search any port name and you get excursion listings dressed as advice, forum threads from 2014, and cruise line pages that would rather you stayed on a coach all day.

What's missing is dull and useful: where the ship actually ties up, how long the walk into town really is, whether the cable car queue is worth it at 9am, and what time you need to turn around. That's the whole site.

Every port follows the same structure, so once you've read one guide you know where to look in all of them. No page is sponsored, no ranking is paid for, and when doing it yourself beats a booked tour, we say so plainly.
